A Series of Strange Events |
A series of Strange Events is a series of books Andy made and is about a guy named Jackarino Pocky (Jack for short) who has weird things happening to him all the time. There is 6 books in the series, and the first few are just random but rounding off the end of the series it starts to get into a storyline. In this section you'll read all about the series of Strange Events, such as how it began, book info, and other stuff. How it began: A Series of Strange Events began when Andy was just writing about random things, like some guy named Jack that he made up and random stuff. Then he began writing more and more, so it became a book. He created more books, and soon he had 6. At the end of #6, it had ended the series, so Andy stopped writing them. It was fun to him while he wrote, thinking up funny and random things while continuing. Now he remembers the good times he had while writing them. Book info: Here you can read about what each book is about and read clips from each one, to see how random it is. Have fun! ---Book 1: In the very first one, Jack writes a letter to his girlfriend Mary, but when she responds it says in her letter she doesn't like him. Later in the book, an evil clown tries to take over the typewriter he's using to tell his story. Here's a clip from the letter part, taken straight out of the book: "Her response was bad, so I cannot explain it. the note also was smeary. Here was the note (the parts with '--' is where it smeared): I'll never--with all the--never--is again!--bad!--" Now here's a clip with the clown: "Hey - wait! This clown is taking control of my typewriter! Ahhhhh! Hello! I'm Jolly the Clown! Wanna play?" I told you it was random... ---Book 2: In the sequel, Jack gets reunited with his grandfather and later gets stuck in Hi World, which he needs to escape. Here is a clip from the grandfather part: "Dude, get up, man! Huh? Did I fall asleep? Yeah, dude, man! Who are you? I'm your grandfather, man. And I'm a cool dude." Now here's a clip when he's in Hi World: "I was in a world full of hi's! It was...Hi World. There were hi's everywhere. Up and down, side to side. When I looked ahead, I couldn't believe what I saw. It was a flood of hi's!" ---Book 3: The third book is the longest one in the series, for some reason. I guess Andy just couldn't stop thinking up random ideas! Anyway, in this book, C.F.D. officers were actually robbers and 3 spirits were chasing Jack. They were 2 spirits with cell phones and a Jolly the Clown spirit. Here's a clip from the C.F.D. part: "The sompin took off his mask, and it grew taller into a C.F.D. person! Then it took off ANOTHER mask and it was a robber! Then it ran off." Here's a clip from the 3 spirits part: "I recognized one of the spirits! And, there are 3, by the way. And I also recognized the 2 other spirits! The first spirit I recognized was...no...it was Jolly the Clown's spirit! Rit! Rit! Rit! Sorry about that echo, but...it was Jolly the Clown's spirit! And the two other spirits were...Ring! Ring! You guessed it. The two people with cell phones!" ---Book 4: The beginning of the second trilogy of the book series, book 4 has many things to offer, but we'll shorten it up to 2. Jack gets stuck in Comma World and later he discovers a Cuckoo Clock that chimes randomly. Here's a clip from the Comma World part: "Oh, and...COMMA'S ARE TAKING OVER THE WORLD! AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!! I was in...Comma World." Now here's a clip from the Cuckoo Clock part: "Alright then, young sirs. But then, just then - Cuckoo! Cuckoo! Where is that coming from?" ---Book 5: Almost near the end of the series, book 5 has Jack gets dropped into his grandfather's stomach and later Mandy gets narrated by Narry. Here's a clip from the grandfather's stomach part: "There was weird things inside his grandfather's stomach. And inside was the weirdest thing of all...the writing was turning...RED! Ahh! What la heck! The writing is RED in here? And whenever I say RED, it's all in capitals! That's pretty weird." Here's a clip from the narrating part: "Narry!?!? Said Mandy. It's me, Mandy! I narrated you! It's Narry! Oh, and, I disposed of that guy narrating you before. He was a dog, so he only had one life. Why is all the narrators animals? I do not know, Mandy, but let us get on with the story." ---Book 6: Rounding off the series at book 6, things get into a storyline, but a random one. In this one, Jack finds out about a talking hot dog and watermelon, and later, Jack must kill his grandfather with a banana because his grandfather is evil. Here's a clip from the hot dog/watermelon part: "Those are a hot dog and a watermelon! said Tumble. What?!?! said Jack. Yo, that's right. said the hot dog. I always hated ya, Jack. You never liked my songs! Oh, sorry about all that - Jack said. See? I'm a threat now, so you're apologizing. Yeah! Me too! said the watermelon right beside him." Now here's the grandfather clip: "I'm sorry it must end with me killing my grandfather, said Jack. But it must happen! Jack shot the banana right into his grandfather's mouth. He was...dead." Book 6 doesn't end like that, and sorry there's a cliff-hanger there, but we had to shorten it up. Hot Dog's song: Titled: House in a Blouse "My house wearin' a blouse! Yeah, yeah, yeah! My house wearin' that silly old blouse! Yeah!" That concludes my Series of Strange Events description. And remember...stay RANDOM! |
